Planning & Cost Controls Engineer (Full Time)

·               Participates in project planning activities by using a collaborative approach with Project Managers, project team members and functional managers to ensure that realistic project plans are developed.

·               Review of Project scope / contract documents to identify project requirements to develop fit for purpose planning procedures

·               Develop planning procedures which includes Progress measurement, change controls, invoice, scheduling, cost controls

·               Develop work breakdown structure (WBS), schedules (L1-L4) and resource plans

·               Coordinate the development of project budgets and ensure the implementation of cost control systems

·               Establish project Scope baselines, Cost Schedule Baseline and Resource Baseline

·               Prepare S-curves, histograms and other relevant charts for graphical representation of projects status for all projects

·               Maintain the risk management process organizing periodic meetings and verifying the risk owner’s feedback.

·               Communicate project controls requirements to those functionally responsible for executing projects to avoid the implementation of wrong actions that will have negative impact on project baseline.

·               Responsible for Project Planning and Scheduling of the Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication & Erection of Structural modules.

·               Review schedules and planning ensuring that it is according to contractual weight factors.

·               Develop, implement & control project procedures, schedules budgets, estimates, and scope change orders, with computerized systems Primavera.

·               Update schedules with physical progress and man-hour expenditure to show all trends, status, forecasts & prepare scenarios.

·               Ensure the Overall Planned Project S-Curve against Actual Project S-Curve is usually updated monthly.
